GMP+ reduced the risk from medium to low regarding maize (products) from Romania. This means that maize originating from Romania can be analysed less frequently.

The new risk profile is the result of the evaluation of the available analysis results of aflatoxin B1 in maize from GMP+ International, together with other accepted scheme owners. This new risk profile takes effect 5 March 2019.

Note: Maize originating from a country with high risk must be analysed more frequently, because the risk of the presence of aflatoxin B1 is to be considered high. Consult for more details GMP+ aflatoxine Protocol.
