Bunge appoints Jacqualyn Fouse as CFO
Bunge Ltd., the world’s top oilseed processor announced that it has hired Jacqualyn Fouse (46) as Chief Financial Officer to replace Drew Burke.
Burke has been serving as interim Chief Financial Officer since April. He
will return full-time to his role as co-CEO of Bunge Global
Agribusiness.
Fouse’s appointment becomes effective July 23, 2007. She
comes to Bunge from Alcon, Inc., where most recently, she held the titles of
Senior Vice President, CFO and Corporate Strategy. This Hunenberg,
Switzerland-based company specilialises in eye care products, surgical equipment
and devices.
During her earlier stint at Alcon from 1986 to 1993, Fouse
held several key positions, including Manager Corporate Investments and Domestic
Finance. Earlier in her career, she worked at Celanese Chemical and LTV
Aerospace and Defense.
Commenting on the appointment of Jacqualyn Fouse as CFO, Alberto Weisser, Chairman and CEO, Bunge Ltd., said,
