The Feed Manufacturing Short Course will be held from September 22 – October 3, 2008 in Manhattan, Kansas USA. The course explores, in detail, the major elements of modern feed manufacturing and examines advances in feed technology.
Who should
attend: Feed mill owners, managers, supervisors, merchandisers, and
maintenance personnel and managers of livestock, poultry and agriculture
facilities.
Field trip: This course does include a field trip to
various farm and industry locations which are arranged closer to the beginning
of the course. These usually require overnight stays and the hotels and dates
will be determined as field trip plans are completed. Estimated cost per night
night of the hotel would be $60-$120.
Registration fee: US$2,500.
*Does not include transportation, hotel or incidental costs.
Arrival
and departure: Participants should plan to arrive in Manhattan, Kansas, no
later than Sunday, September 21 and depart from Manhattan, Kansas, Saturday,
October 4. The hotel shuttle provides transportation service to and from
classes.
