Specialists to discuss sustainability in Brazil

08-03-2007 | |

How to produce food assuring quality, safety, and responsibility while preserving the environment? This is undoubtedly one of our greatest challenges today and the theme of the II Global Feed & Food Congress Brazil to be held in São Paulo from 16th to 18th April, 2007.

The event, an accomplishment of FAO/ONU (Food and
Agricultural Organization/United Nations Organization) and IFIF (International
Feed Industry Federation), will be organized by Sindirações (Sindicato Nacional
da Indústria de Alimentação Animal).

Specialists like Fred Stephens,
President of IFIF; José Graziano, FAO/ONU Representative for Latin America;
Martin Tielen, President of FEFAC (Federação Européia dos Produtores da
Alimentação Animal); and Gretchen H. Stanton, of the World Trade Organization,
will discuss  a wide range of themes related to the food productive chain.

The event, that is expected to join more than 600 participants from all over
the world, will approach issues of great interest for feed manufacturers,
agro-industries, chemical and veterinary industries, breeders, food industries,
wholesalers and retailers, doctors, nutritionists, government entities, research
institutions, among many other segments.
