UK pet food factory open in autumn
A pet food factory in Somerset, UK should be up and running by November – over two years later than planned.
The Crown Pet Foods factory is on land earmarked for industrial use near
Torbay Road in Castle Cary.
Some residents objected to the plans, saying
the factory could cause traffic problems but others welcomed the 80 jobs which
will be created.
Crown is a subsidiary of the French company, Royal Canin, with its UK
base in Yeovil.
