A member company of the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) since 2005, Vets Plus, Inc. (VPI) has been granted “Preferred Supplier” status by NASC. Council President Karen Howard announced the addition of Vets Plus to its list at the SupplySide Animal Nutrition Insights Summit held in Las Vegas at the beginning of November

Dr. Anita Sinha, Director of Quality Management at VPI said, “Being included as a “Preferred Supplier” is a matter of great pride for us. We make sure that all of our procedures meet or exceed the highest industry standards. Quality of product and service is our top priority as we strive for an optimum level of customer satisfaction.” She expressed her satisfaction with the employees for their continued efforts in quality, adding, “Our team works hard to ensure that all procedures are followed appropriately. Without their care and attention throughout the process, we would not be given this honor.”

Because of the company’s consistently high quality standards, Vets Plus has been granted the privilege to use the NASC Quality Seal on labels and marketing materials for its innovative companion animal supplements, all of which are manufactured in the USA. The seal builds consumer confidence by symbolising the manufacturer’s adherence to strict quality and labeling guidelines per NASC standards.

In addition to maintaining adherence to NASC standards, the company’s Quality Management System aligns with FDA and cGMP standards, and VPI is ISO 9001:2008 compliant. President and CEO of VPI, Raj Lall, explained, “We maintain these quality standards so that our consumers can rest assured our products are safe and effective for their pets. Our contract manufacturing partners can be confident that we are developing and producing their products with the greatest care and commitment to quality.”
