ADM Animal Nutrition has teamed up with the University of Illinois Department of Animal Sciences to further develop and enhance its portfolio of high-quality pet food ingredients and premixes.

In this collaboration, scientists from ADM and the University of Illinois will work together to explore alternative ingredient solutions. Most notably, the collaboration will focus on using innovative and versatile ingredients such as edible beans, peas, ancient grains, complex proteins, and vegetable-based omega fatty acids, along with ADM’s ever-expanding portfolio of proprietary ingredients.

Additionally, scientists from both groups will examine ways to enhance companion animals’ overall well-being by taking a closer look at ingredients that support immunity and gut health by creating favourable conditions for digestion.
