Expansion of silo capacity at Fides Petfood
Belgian petfood manufacturer Fides has almost doubled its storage capacity by installing 1,360 m3 of square smooth lining silos from SCE.
Fides Petfood is a Belgian producer of private label dog and cat food and is part of the family owned Group Depré, which is specialised in feeds for farm animals (Hens, Depré), hobby feeds for birds and pigeons (Beduco) and feeds for dogs and cats (Euro-Premium).
After installing a complete new production and storage facility in 2006 (storage capacity of 1,765 m3) this year an additional 11 new smooth lining silos from Silo Construction & Engineering (SCE) with a volume of 1,360 m3 were built to store raw materials and meals.
The investment was completed with a considerable expansion of the warehouse and expedition area. The company now has a modern and flexible production facility which complies with the highest quality requirements.
