A “temporary mutual recognition” between OQUALIM and “AIC, GMP+ International, OVOCOM, and QS”, is effective as of January 1st 2018.

This is the first result of the fact that the four organisations (AIC, GMP+ International, OVOCOM, QS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with OQUALIM in order to work towards full mutual recognition among each other.

This temporary mutual recognition will cover the activities of manufacturing, distribution and placing on the market of compound feed and premixes. It is applicable for companies that are certified under the OQUALIM annex 1 “Purchase requirements for goods and services”.

The temporary mutual recognition is valid for a transition period of 2 years (2018-2019) in which all parties involve will further work towards a full recognition.

The extension of the scope of the mutual recognition to distribution and trading of feed materials, additives by OQUALIM certified company will be the first step of this future common work, with the aim to reach an agreement by the end of Q1.
