Pet food maker Mars Petcare U.S. is investing $4.3 million to expand operations in Columbus, Ohio, USA. The project includes starting another production shift for pouch and canned products as well as relocating a pilot plant for research and development.
A spokesperson for Mars Petcare said the work is already in progress and will be complete by the end of next year. The company employs about 400 at the Columbus site and will add 25 jobs as a result of the project.
The facility produces Pedigree and Cesar brands.
