In October 2013 Russia produced 1897 thousand tons of animal feed – which is 7% more than in September 2013 and 8% more than in October 2013.
So far it is the new all-time record for production of animal feed in the country, according to the reports of the Russian media SoyaNews.
During the last 10 months, the country produced 9% more animal feed, 7% more feed for poultry and 19% more feed for pigs than during the same period last year.
In October 2013, Russia produced almost 1090 tons of feed for poultry – which is 6% more than in September of 2013, and by 7% more than in October of the last year. It als produced 641.5 thousand tons of feed for pigs – which is 8% more than in September and 15% more than in October 2012.
