The American Feed Industry Association will host the Import/Export Seminar Dec. 4-5 in Arlington, Va, at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View.

Created out of a recognised need for education and discussion on regulatory trade requirements for the feed, ingredient and pet food industries, the Import/Export Seminar will feature executive-level representatives from various government institutions who will provide pertinent information about their agencies’ as they pertain to the trade of feed, ingredients and pet food.

Participants will learn about current constraints and how they can support the efforts of the varying agencies.

Speakers include experts from:

  • the Office of the United States Trade Representative (Executive Office of the President),
  • the US Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service,
  • the Foreign Agricultural Service and
  • the US Food and Drug Administration.

Through regional trade updates and question-and-answer sessions, the seminar will provide details about the roles of the different government agencies and available resources.
