Ukrainian Grain Company has finished the construction and put into operation the animal feed mill in Khmelnitskyi Oblast, reported local news agency “UNIAN” citing the head of the regional council Ivan Gonchar.
According to Gonchar, the plant went into operation at the beginning of October and the total investments cost of the project was in the region of €18 million.
“There is a closed production cycle – and noteworthy is that the new feed mill can produce compound feed for both animals and fish. Total capacity is 25 tonnes of pelleted feed per hour,” said Gonchar.
It is expected that the Ukrainian Grain Company will make the feed produced available for sale in not only the Khmelnitskyi Oblast, but also in neighbouring regions.

The company is also engaged in the trading of dairy products, eggs, edible oils and fats. The company is a member of the Group of Companies Edinstvo based in the Poltava region.
