Jean Arai Gemme has opened the largest feed mill in the Kyzylorda Oblast of Kazakhstan. The new plant will produce 30,000 tonnes of feed annually.
120 tonnes of feed will be produced per day, which makes the plant one of the largest mills in the country. The first trial batch of compound feed has already been produced.
The new plant was built with financial support of the state program that seeks to develop industrial innovation in Kazakhstan. In total 2 million dollars have been invested in the feed mill.
The new plant will reach its full production capacity in a matter of days. The size of the plant makes Kazakhstan farmers less dependent of feed imports. The mill will in the future also be used for storage of large amounts of feed. There are also plans for the construction of a plant for the production of meal.
