Russia produced 13 million tonnes of poultry feed in 2014 – which is 4% more than in 2013, according to Soya News. The main reason for the increase of the production of poultry feed is the ongoing growth of the poultry population in Russia.
According to the report, in December 2014 Russia produced 1,156 million tonnes of poultry feed, which is 5.1% more than in the previous month and 6.2% more than in December 2013. At the same time, it’s an absolute record in monthly production of poultry feed in Russia. For 2015, further growth is being expected.
