AFIA exists 100 years and debuts new logo

The American Feed Industry Association is pleased to announce the launch of its Centennial Celebration in honor of achieving its hundredth anniversary. The commemoration begins today with the unveiling of a new logo and will continue with special events next week.

The Centennial Celebration is timed to coincide with AFIA’s annual Spring Forum and Purchasing and Ingredient Suppliers Conference. The new logo is designed to draw attention to AFIA’s history and mission as the association commences its Centennial Celebration.

The logo that will be used by AFIA beginning today includes the key years of 1909 and 2009. Once AFIA’s Centennial Celebration concludes, the “1909-2009” element will no longer appear in the logo. The highlight of AFIA’s Centennial Celebration is a one-of-a-kind program scheduled for March 11, 2009. The program will occur at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Destin, Fla., the site of the Spring Forum and Purchasing and Ingredient Suppliers Conference.
