Alltech is a gold sponsor of the event. Connolly’s talk will take place as part of the Nutritional and Feed Technologies programme, on Tuesday 7th of August at 10.30am in the Iemanjá auditorium in the Bahia Salvador Convention Centre.
In addition, WPC 2012 will be the location for the launch of the Alltech Poultry Advantage programme, which offers poultry companies a natural way of improving bird health and performance, thereby increasing profitability.
The aim is to share Alltech’s resources, such as its worldwide network of researchers and technical experts, and work together with poultry companies to produce safe, healthy meat and eggs in a cost-effective and sustainable manner.
“Now is the time for producers to move towards integrated solutions and produce meat and egg products which are fundamentally superior and which allow them to differentiate themselves. A tremendous opportunity exists in the gap between actual performance and the true genetic potential of these birds to produce more meat and more eggs,” Connolly said.
