Cehave to buy Hungarian feed company
Dutch feed producer Cehave Landbouwbelang plans to buy a feed company in Hungary, chairman of the executive board Kees Sijsens said yesterday.
Sijssens did not mention the sum of the planned sale.
He did mention that the Cehave is investigating the financial position of the
Hungarian feed company. “If the result from that is positive, we can probably
round off the sale within 2 months”.

High
expectations
Although the Hungarian market is not considered the most
interesting market, according to the animal feed sector, Sijssens does have high
expectations of the potential the country has. “Hungary is rich in raw
materials. I am convinced that the country will do well in the future. Maybe
other companies disagree, but we cannot wait to produce there”, Sijssens
commented.
Cehave is also producing (on small scale) in Ukraine and
China.
