13-10-2009 | |

The American Feed Industry Association is once again featuring dynamic educational programs at the International Feed Expo/International Poultry Expo, Jan. 27-29, 2010, in Atlanta, USA.

Designed by leading experts for professionals at all levels of experience, three unique presentations will take place on Jan. 28, 2010 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. during AFIA’s International Educational Forum.

The International Educational Forum is a free event for all IFE/IPE attendees. Dr. David Meeker of the National Renderers Association will kick off the event with his presentation, “Safety and Quality of Rendered Products for Animal Diets.” AFIA’s Jarrod Kersey, director of ingredients and state legislative affairs, and Keith Epperson, vice president of manufacturing and training, will give the annual update on the regulatory and legislative issues facing the total feed industry.

The final presentation of the morning will be delivered by Carl Allis, CPM’s plant manager of die and roll operations. He will be discussing how proper die and roll design and selection will improve throughput and reduce operating cost. At the close of the educational event, the show floor will open to explore products, services and to network with industry peers.

If you are interested in other AFIA-sponsored educational programs, consider the Pet Food Conference or the Animal Ag Environmental Sustainability Summit. To register to attend the Expo click HERE.
