Enzyme’s versatility is ideal for petfood

The application of enzymes in the petfood industry has been dominated by the use of proteases fro flavour production. The use of amylases for extrusion is the next step, once quality issues have been solved. But the potential is sufficient to suggest real growth in the future. Nutritional enzymes are also used, though within Europe, regulatory issues need to be dealt with first.
