FIAAP, VICTAM & GRAPAS Asia 2014 bigger than last time

The FIAAP, VICTAM & GRAPAS Asia have sold all the available exhibition spaces. This means that the show is 20% larger than the last successful event organised in Bangkok in 2012.

Visitors from throughout South, Southeast Asia and beyond will find more exhibitors, larger stands, more newly launched products and services and more solutions.

The FIAAP, VICTAM & GRAPAS Asia cover the animal feed, rice and grain processing industry, as well as aquafeed and petfood.

There are also a series of conferences held on these topics.

Respected speakers

For the first time the event organisers have been able to bring together senior executives from the Asian Development Bank, the ASEAN Community Secretariat and the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations. These respected speakers will present keynote speeches at the ASEAN Feed & Rice Symposium on the 9th April. The purpose of this first ever Symposium is to inform the select audience of the trading and financial impact of the ASEAN Free Trade Zone when it comes into force, as well as looking at Food and Feed Security. The Symposium is open to all registered visitors and is free of charge.

Innovation award

AllAboutFeed will be present with a booth and internet café. AllAboutFeed will also be granting the AllAboutFeed/FIAAP Animal Nutrition Award to the most innovative feed ingredient. This prize will be granted on April 8. It is the second time that AllAboutFeed in association with Victam International will present this prestigious animal nutrition award. Aalt Dijkhuizen, Terry Etherton and Mario Sergio Cutait are named as jury members for this award.

Back to business in BKK

Recent disturbances in Bangkok have now largely disappeared. The international airport, the business areas, the Sukhumvit hotel district, BITEC, and the transportation system is running smoothly, so it is ‘business as usual’ in Bangkok. Entry to the exhibitions is free. To register online as a visitor, go to  www.victam.com
