Over the past few years, Biomin’s Asian affiliate has had a number of feed samples analysed to provide customers insights into the occurrence of mycotoxins in their feed, thereby enabling better feed management. The outcome is rather interesting and shows that deoxynivalenol and fumonisin B1 are the main mycotoxins to deal with. Furthermore, all samples of peanut meal were contaminated with aflatoxins.
