Indian KSE Ltd opens 500-tonne plant

KSE Ltd, which deals in cattle-feed mixture, milk, ice cream and allied products, has opened a new plant at Irinjalakkuda (Kerala state, India) with a production capacity of 500 tonnes a day.

Set up at an investment of Rs 140 million (€2 million), the plant uses technical knowhow from Avila of Germany.
 
The machinery is fully automated to ensure quality products.
 
With a turnover of Rs 3.5 billion (€50.4 million), the company produces about 290,000 tonnes of ready-mix cattle feed a year.
 
It has five modern cattle-feed factories, two solvent extraction plants, and two dairy plants in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
 
Last year, it marketed 287,049 tonnes of ready-mix cattle feed.
