More use of cactus in Chinese animal feed
China Kangtai Cactus Biotech Inc, producer of cactus-based products in China has teamed up with The State Ministry of Agriculture Feed Industry Centre to study the use of cactus in animal feed and its effect on immunology.
The effect of animal feed on immunology already has been the basis for the
Chinese company to develop cactus feed and cactus feed additives with different
formulas, such as cactus cattle feed and cactus fish feed.
The company has currently five
patents pending. These include cactus poultry feed, cactus pig feed, cactus
cattle feed additives, cactus poultry feed additives and cactus pig feed
additives.
