A new grain terminal will officially be openened in Hovsany, Baku, on April 3, 2007. Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov will participate in the opening ceremony.
The terminal is 50% owned by Kazakhstan and will have a capacity of 15,000 tons of grain a month. Kazakh products will be transported to the terminal base from the Aktau grain terminal through the Caspian Sea.
