New poultry research farm for Biomin

In conjunction with the Centre for Applied Animal Nutrition (CAN) in Austria, Biomin now runs the P-CAN, a new research farm in Thailand.

This semi commercial trials facility is located approximately 140 km to the
West of Bangkok. “The Poultry Centre for Applied Animal Nutrition (P-CAN) is a
fully operational broiler farm under standard Thai commercial conditions”,
comments Bob Nichol, technical Director of Biomin Asia.

NGP research
The farm has just completed the first crop
under the management and supervision of the Biomin Thailand team. Biomin will
start early january with the semi commercial evaluation of the latest generation
of Biomins NGP (natural growth promoters). “Such a facility on this scale is a
fantastic opportunity for the Poultry Industry” says Piyapa Watanakij, Country
Manager of Biomin Thailand. “We now truly have an excellent facility under
commercial condition where products and performance can be measured
equally.
