New trainee Ruminant Specialist joining Wynnstay

The Wynnstay Group has announced the appointment of a new trainee ruminant specialist to its agricultural sales team as part of the company’s ongoing recruitment and training programme.

Ben Hembrow has been appointed as trainee ruminant specialist following his graduation from Harper Adams University College.

Ben, aged 22, is from a dairy farming family in Somerset and has recently completed a four year BSc (Honours) degree in agriculture which included a one year placement on a 500 cow dairy unit in Buckinghamshire.  He will spend his first 12 months with Wynnstay training to become part of their specialist ruminant team.

"The purpose of the scheme is to bring the next generation of agricultural specialists into the industry and to ensure that Wynnstay’s customers continue to have access to the latest and best advice,” explains Steve Brown, Ruminant Feeds Product Manager for Wynnstay.
