The Animal Feed Manufacturers Association (AFMA) of South Africa will be the host of this prestigious international event.
This follows a month after AFMA has hosted the AFMA FORUM 2010, the 7th International Feed Conference of its kind at Sun City, which was attended by more than 430 local and international representatives of more than 15 different countries outside Africa.
According to the Executive Director of AFMA, De Wet Boshoff, this will be the highlight of the decade on the African Feed calendar and would be an exceptional opportunity to showcase the South African feed industry to the world.
At the same time the 4th GFFC would create a forum at which people across the globe can discuss the challenges facing the feed and food industries, seeing that these sectors are growing closer and closer to each other by the day as links of the food value chain to satisfy the needs of the consumer – “safe and wholesome food”.
Secondly, this would also create the forum where regulators of the above industries across the globe can discuss common goals and challenges which can be shared with industries going forward, as collective means are explored to feed the ever increasing population of the world.
Dates and venues will be announced to the press and industries as the planning commence on the 4th GFFC.
