Novus Int. appoints Chief Sustainability Officer

Novus International appointed Dr. Joyce Cacho as Chief Sustainability Officer. Dr. Cacho’s primary responsibility will be managing, planning and implementing Novus’s global Corporate Social Responsibility Program and initiatives.

Dr. Cacho holds a Doctorate in Agribusiness Finance Policy and Investment Decisions from the University of Missouri – Columbia, a Master’s in Agricultural Marketing Policy and International Trade from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), and a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada.

Prior to joining Novus International, Dr. Cacho directed the Agribusiness Initiatives Program of the Corporate Council on Africa. “Joyce will work closely with Novus’s Business Managers to align corporate strategies and business unit actions with our Sustainability Programs. We are fortunate to have her at Novus,” stated Thad Simons, President and CEO.

“Profitability complements the social and environmental dimensions of Sustainability at Novus.  As Chief Sustainability Officer, Joyce will take the lead and strengthen our triple bottom line by focusing on key factors of our sustainability programs as well as future reports,” stated Scott Hine, Director of Strategic Initiatives.
