Novus International acquires IQF group

Novus International, Inc. announced that it has acquired the IQF Group, and IQF Enamex, including Carotenoid Technologies, and Investigaciones Químicas y Farmacéuticas, based in Tarragona, Spain andIQF-enamex, based in Córdoba, Mexico.

IQF is a world leader in natural feed and food carotenoid pigments, essential oils, anti-caking agents and mould inhibitors. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
 
IQF was established in 1970 and has a customer base extending across more than 60 countries.
 
Novus also acquired IQF-enamex and its sister company, Operadora enamex, both based in Córdoba, Mexico from Grupo Porres and other shareholders.
 
IQF Enamex Group was established in 2001 through a merger with the IQF Group.
 
IQF’s natural feed additives can be mixed with feed to enhance meat and egg nutrition and color. The company is currently active with product lines in the poultry, ruminant, pork and aquaculture markets. Key IQF brands include: Xamacol, Astacol, Lutecol, Betacol, Canthacol, Toxiban, Micokapand NextEnhance.
 
IQF-enamex is currently active with complementary product lines in the poultry, ruminant and pork markets. Key brands include: Enacol, Desmycotox, Enamold, PMX Vitaminica, Inclorfosand Canthacol.
