ReFaC – the REACH Facilitation Company – has appointed Rachel Green as its new Technical Officer.

She joins ReFaC from Harlan Laboratories, Derbyshire, where she provided practical support and advice to client companies on compliance with REACH and the new Classification, Labelling, and Packaging (CLP) Regulation.
 
Specifically, Rachel Green has provided technical consultancy in relation to REACH submissions ranging from Lead Registration Dossiers to Only Representative duties.
 
These projects have included data-gap analysis, literature searches, developing a scientific justification for read-across data, generating Chemical Safety Reports, as well as writing REACH dossiers.
 
Rachel Green holds a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry and Biological Chemistry from the University of Nottingham and is an Associate Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
 
She also holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in REACH Management from the University of Hull.
 
ReFaC’s services are focused mainly on small and medium enterprises (SMEs) – based inside or outside the European Union. They are open to chemical producers, distributors, service providers, downstream users or trade associations.
