PEOPLE: The Nuscience group appoints Jan Smulders as COO
Nuscience group has appointed Jan Smulders as COO, he will take up the position starting October 1st 2011.
Jan Smulders has held various management positions in the animal nutrition sector over the past 25 years and has been responsible for the development of animal nutrition businesses in major agricultural markets around the world.
His prime focus will be to support the current business and develop the growth plan in the emerging markets of Central and Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa.
As CEO of the Nuscience group, Patrick Keereman will be leading the Nuscience group. He will follow up the all over development of the group and focus on innovation, synergy and international development in the Anglo American markets.
The Nuscience group currently operates businesses in Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine, Russia and China. It holds three product oriented business units with functional feed additives (Add´Itt), special concentrates (Vitamex, Pricor, Preconex and Lusai) and premixes
