Working with Petkus Australia Pacific, Satake Australia will integrate the Petkus equipment into projects and specify for individual machine requirements.
The agreement also brings together Petkus’s industry leading products with Satake Australia’s local engineering, design and installation capabilities.
Petkus aims to make Australia its management hub for the Asia Pacific region and to bring its full offering of grain handling equipment to the region, rather than, as before, a narrower range of seed cleaning machinery.
More visibility in the market
For the previous eight years, Petkus’ wholly owned Australian operation was run by the company Rudolph Müller. It now steps out of its shadow and aims at further penetrating the market with a broader range of machinery and bringing the Petkus name forward.
Both Petkus and
Satake are renowned international companies and Satake is known for building some of the largest and most advanced seed cleaning, pulse processing, flour and feed milling plants in the region, as well as serving the nut and other bulk processing industries.
Roger Cook, Head of Sales and Service for Satake Australia said, “Petkus is one of the world leaders in mechanical seed cleaning, grain drying and seed coating equipment. We are delighted to be building on the cooperation agreements already in place between Satake and Petkus in other parts of the world and bringing them to Australia.
“The Australian seed cleaning industry will benefit from modern mechanical systems from Petkus packaged with advanced colour sorting and turnkey project delivery from Satake.”
