South Australia to sow good 2008 harvest
When good rain will fall at the start of the season, South Australia may sow a cropping area that will probably match what we had last year, according to Peter Fulwood, consultant with Rural Solutions SA, a government agency.

million acres) to all crops last year before drought cut output. Grain growers

Most of the states grain-growing
regions have between 40 and 60% chance of above-average rain from March to May,
according to the Bureau of Meteorology. Western Australia was the largest wheat
growing state last harvest. Australian grain growers will plant their next crop
starting about May.
