SPF Diana receives Global Pets Forum Award 2011

SPF, specialist in palatability enhancers for pet food, received the Global Pets Forum Award for 2011 in Barcelona, Spain.

This award recognizes the firm’s commitment to innovation and corporate social responsibility (CSR). “SPF is completely dedicated to pet food industry. The firm has presented more concrete actions and tangible initiatives than any other nominees” explained Dr Rob Vigoureux, director of FACTA international and chairman of the Award jury.
 
SPF works under high quality, safety and environmental standards, achieving certifications such as: ISO 9001, 14001, 22000, HACCP, GMP+ and OHSAS 18001. Last year the company underwent a complete audit to measure its carbon footprint, in preparation for ISO 26000 certification. Additionally through a provider policy, SPF considers safety and ethics criteria when choosing its partners. SPF continually enforces strict food safety practices and it is committed to the non-competition with human food.
