VevoVitall® gets EU authorization
VevoVitall® (the ultra-pure grade of benzoic acid) has been officially authorized within the European Union for use in piglet feeds in the category ‘Other Zootechnical’ of the new feed additive regulation 1831/2003.
This new registration is the second approval for VevoVitall® in the European
Union. Its use in growing and fattening pigs decreases the emission of ammonia
in the environment. Studies also demonstrate that the addition of VevoVitall® to
pig feed leads to a benefit of €1-3 per pig.
