On 10-11 May leading experts from all over the world will gather in Copenhagen to discuss how we can reduce climate footprints from the agri-food industry. The conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers, Denmark.

The opening speaker of Agri-Food & Climate Circle. As CEO of Danish Crown since 2015, Jais will bring insights on a potential way towards sustainable meat production.
Martin Scholten, Advisor, Wageningen University & Research
Dr. Scholten will dive into the pressing topic of circularity and resource utilisation. He will raise awareness of the enzymatic treatment, biorefining and fermentation techniques to increase resource utilisation, present technologies for extracting food grade ingredients from waste materials, and talk about cultivation, harvesting techniques, and logistics in connection with the biorefining process.
Sissel Beate Rønning, Senior Scientist, Nofima
Sissel Beate Rønning is passionate about how we can produce food in a new and modern way – to be able to feed a growing population. Her primary focus is: Can we produce meat and alternative food in the laboratory? How to utilise rest material from the food industry in this process? How does the future of food look like?
15 green transition ideas have now been selected – from a pool of 86 submissions – for inclusion in the conference programme. The authors will be giving 5-minute short talks to an international audience of agri-food industry experts. See the short talks.
