Embrapa Suínos e Aves and renowned universities prepare outstanding subjects for the 22nd edition of the event. Registration is now open!
Tackle relevant topics and bring assertive information to the public. These are the reasons for the 21st edition of the International Seminar for Poultry and Swine of the 7th Brazilian Congress of Precision Livestock Farming, which are part of the programme AveSui – Latin American Trade Fair for Poultry and Swine Industry, which takes place on 25-27th April 2023, in Paraná – Brazil.
Following its innovation line, the organisation of the event will bring avant-garde content to its lecture schedule. “As usual, we are going to bring subjects that cover the entire atmosphere of poultry and swine production, so that event participants leave loaded with information and solutions to apply in their daily lives, reflecting on the good economic performance of their activities”, says the director of AveSui, Andrea Gessulli.
Headed by Embrapa Suínos e Aves , the panel that brings news about microbial use brings topics such as “meat production and the prudent use of antimicrobials in animal diets” and “Use of Phages in the prevention of antimicrobial resistance”, as well as a technical round, where the latest news on the agenda will be presented by companies in the sector.
For the Animal Welfare area, the grid has a special session coordinated by Doctor of the University Technological Federal of Paraná (UTFPR-Câmpus Dois Vizinhos), Angélica Signor Mendes, who will address subjects such as “Animal welfare: transforming the Brazil of the future” and “Animal welfare and its marketing implications”.
The performance of feed manufacturing structures will also be highlighted in the panel coordinated by Antonio Apércio Klein, a consultant formed by SFT from Switzerland (Swiss Institute of Feed Technology), which will bring up the themes: Indicators of expected effects in a Feed Factory; Dosing of solids and liquids; Milling; Mixture; Addition of liquids in the mixer and powder Pellet; and Pelletization. “The objective of the panel is to present and discuss managerial techniques and technologies available and possible to be used in the feed mill in order to maximise the use of available resources for manufacturing”, says the director of the event.
The 21st edition of the International Seminar for Poultry and Swine also brings the 7th Brazilian Congress of Precision Livestock Farming under the coordination of Dr. Prof. Iran José Oliveira da Silva from Nupea from Esalq/USP, which addresses the use of technology and innovation in poultry and pork production, bringing innovative technologies and concepts.
In this edition, AveSui will have a covered and structured space in the external pavilion of machines and equipment to offer updates for poultry and pig farming professionals.
The space will provide the opportunity for visitors to train for free and promotes the products and services of the exhibiting companies that operate in this niche, they will have the chance to show good practices and preventive measures in the use of machinery.
